Rick Mullarky has created an interesting Flash synth for this month's Werk section. Each of the five outer radius icons contains a
tool bar which allows you to select from one of thirty-six sounds. After you've selected your sounds, roll and click on the target area to produce different sound textures.
Rick Mullarky is an artist and designer living in Seattle. He studied Art and Graphic Design at the University of Washington and The Basel School of Design in
Switzerland. He has worked for Adobe, Microsoft, and numerous web companies, and his poster work is part of the permanent collection of the Zurich Museum of Design.
For the past year, he has concentrated solely on web-based art works. This work has appeared on some of our
favorite sites, including Shift Japan, The Remedi Project,
and Born Magazine. Recently, one of his works was nominated for an award at the Media Arts Festival in Tokyo.
